About Us

Founded in 2010, Sanctuary Rescue set out to save shelter dogs, one puppy at a time. More than a decade later, we have built a rescue community to be proud of and saved thousands of lives. While our original focus was on rescuing pregnant dogs from municipal animal shelters, we have expanded our expertise to include orphaned neonates, puppies born with cleft lip, senior dogs, and healthy adult dogs. We have a strong focus on high-quality care, saving sick, injured, orphaned dogs and helping our shelter partners alleviate overcrowding. Our fosters and volunteers are an amazing team of passionate and compassionate heroes. We try to always have fun and laugh, because how could you be in a bad mood when you are surrounded by puppies!
